Main statement Effective leadership and business-like ways of working are in place where there are mechanisms/structures to effect regular dialogue between all partners e.g. via advisory or development groups.

  • Employers are involved in all stages including programme design and delivery.
  • Learners and past learners are involved in the partnership dialogue.
  • Development and management of a suitable method of employer/employee needs analysis
  • Methods of making goals and values explicit, as well as responsibilities within the partnership
  • Speed and responsiveness when dealing with an employer (reputation management)
  • Institution staff who are able to engage at all levels, not just with senior managers
