- Employers are involved in all stages including programme design and delivery.
- Learners and past learners are involved in the partnership dialogue.
- Development and management of a suitable method of employer/employee needs analysis
- Methods of making goals and values explicit, as well as responsibilities within the partnership
- Speed and responsiveness when dealing with an employer (reputation management)
- Institution staff who are able to engage at all levels, not just with senior managers
